Morreu nesta quarta-feira, 23 de fevereiro a cantora Paulinha Abelha, do grupo Calcinha Preta.

Ela estava internada há vários dias em decorrência, inicialmente, de problemas renais. No entanto, ao longo dos dias, a situação de Paulinha foi piorando.

Em uma rede social, o grupo confirmou a morte da artista, que era muito querida. Segundo a nota, após exames, foi constatada a morte cerebral de Paulinha.

“Nas últimas 24 horas apresentou importante agravamento de lesões neurológicas, constatadas em ressonância magnética, e associada a coma profundo.
Foi então iniciado protocolo diagnóstico de morte encefálica, que confirmou hipótese após exames clínicos e complementar específicos.

Ela estava internada no Hospital Primavera desde o dia 17 de fevereiro, sob os cuidados das equipes médicas de terapia intensiva, neurologia e infectologia”, diz um trecho do comunicado.
